Ali said, "I'll go check on it."

Mom was seated in a chair, holding a BIG brush.

Once the roast was in the oven, Mom said, "Go stand in the corner until it's ready."

When dinner was served, Mom said, "Still naked...but get a towel to sit on."
And we sat and ate.
